florida governor election results 2010

florida governor election results 2010

Florida Election Results: The state of Florida hosted several interesting and exciting Senatorial races but none received more national media attention than the three-way race between Kendrick Meek, Charlie Crist and Marco Rubio. On this race, Rubio wins and claims the seat on Senate. The race for governor between Alex Sink and Rick Scott is the next interesting matchup to watch out.

The early elections results for 2010 will all be coming probably tonight. After 6:00 PM ET, the first early election results should start to come out especially that the first polls have already closed. It would most probably take until midnight for all the results to be declared or if not, early tomorrow. But even one or two states in the United States would take a while to finish their count, the winners will be revealed in the next several hours. At this moment, the first early election results may come out from Indiana and Kentucky which just closed their polls.

Kentucky has one of the most heated Senatorial races between Tea Party’s Rand Paul and Democratic nominee Jack Conway.

The first early election results stand to come from Indiana and Eastern Kentucky. The rest of Kentucky would probably close its polls at 7:00 PM ET giving a clearer reason to see results for Rand Paul and Jack Conway that early. For Indiana, Republican candidate Dan Coats is the favorite to win the seat on the Senate.

Polls in South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia and Vermont will also close at 7:00 PM ET. The first toss up state to finish elections will be West Virginia at 7:30 PM ET. Republican John Raese and Democrat Joe Manchin wait their fate on the elections.

The real wave of early election results should start coming out tonight at 8:00 PM ET. At that time, 15 states will close their polls and begin to count the votes. Among these states are Delaware, which may reject Christine O’Donnll, Florida, where their three-way battle will end, and Pennsylvania, where Joe Sestak and Pat Toomey battle for the seat.

At 9:00 PM, 14 more states will start to settle things including New York, Colorado, Michigan, Texas and Wisconsin. The battle between Russ Feingold and Ron Johnson in Wisconsin is one of those that could settle control in the Senate.

The West Coast will start to settle at 10:00 PM ET, as Arizona, Iowa, Montana, Nevada and Utah start to release their early election results. The Senatorial race in Navada could be a blow to the Democrats if Harry Reid cannot rally against Sharron Angle.

Alaska Senate Race Results

Alaska Senate Race Results

While there were hundreds of political elections taking place across the country on Tuesday, the most unusual race must have been the Alaska Senator Race. As of this morning, 76% of the votes cast in Alaska had been received and counted.

The person winning the race so far was not either of the candidates on the ballot, but instead the “write-in” candidate.

Of votes that have been received, the write-in vote had received about 41% of the votes.

This leads the pack as Republican Joe Miller had received only 34% and Democrat Scott McAdams had received only 24%.

The winner of the “write-in” votes is expected to be Senator Lisa Murkowski, who is the incumbent in office. Murkowski launched a full write-in campaign, and if she wins, she will be the first senator elected via write-in in over 50 years. The actual tally of votes for Murkowski will most likely not be known for a few days.

PA Election Results for 2010 Governor Race Updated

The PA state election results for 2010 have been updated with projected winners for the governor's race as well as Senate and House seats up for grabs. With most of the precincts reporting, Tom Corbett appears to have won victory in the PA elections for 2010 over rival Dan Onorato.

The win by the Tom Corbett continues the trend of Republican wins in 2010 over Democrats who lost control of the House of Representatives.

In the PA senate race, Republican Pat Toomey holds a slight edge in the voting results with the race too close to call. Some news reports have projected that Toomey is the winner but no official confirmation has been made.

The state ended up with mostly Republican winners especially in the House where 12 of 19 seats went to the GOP while only seven ended up with the Democrats signaling a major shift in the state.

Nancy Pelosi Election Results

Nancy Pelosi has won reelection to her house seat but America spoke in a huge way in the Midterm elections and the message was clear fire Nancy Pelosi could be heard all over the country. Well the people got their wish Nancy Pelosi is fired as Speaker of the House as Republicans took a decisive victory winning 239 seats in the House. There are still a few seats up for grabs, but Republicans do control the house and they have closed the gap in the Senate. This will change the way a lot of things are done in Washington. Not having Nancy Pelosi with the same amount of power may help the President. Many people think Nancy Pelosi has helped President Obama accomplish his goals, but actually her influence has hurt the president. She need to be fired and now she is, too bad she did not get totally kicked out of Congress as she is a virus who should not be there in any capacity. Ohio Republican John Boehner will most likely be replacing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi during the next Congress.
